Mr. Sánchez is a law clerk with the Kaludi Insdorf Law Group. Mr. Sánchez is strongly motivated to help others, and believes that the best work is rooted in attention to details, diligence, good time management, and a positive attitude towards problem solving.
His legal career began at the Inner City Law Center (ICLC) in Los Angeles, California. As part of a Public Allies fellowship, Mr. Sánchez worked as an outreach advocate for the ICLC as part of the Rent Escrow Account Program (REAP) and assisted clients with illegal rent increases, evictions, and landlord tenant disputes. Mr. Sánchez outreached to over 300 units in the City of Los Angeles and gain insight into the wide geography of Los Angeles, from Boyle Heights to Venice and from San Pedro to Sun Valley. Mr. Sánchez later became ICLC's first tenant organizer and was tasked with developing and directing outreach efforts to slum buildings throughout Los Angeles and helped in gaining multi-million dollar settlements for low-income residents. He also worked for ICLC’s Homeless Veterans Project.
Mr. Sánchez was also a Public Allies fellow with Coro Southern California, where he gained valuable insight into the institutional and civic landscape of Southern California. As part of an intensive nine-month fellowship, Mr. Sánchez interned at the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Angela Acosta-Salazar for Rio Hondo Board of Trustees, Chrysalis, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the United Farm Workers Political Department, and Planned Parenthood in Orange, California.
While at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Mr. Sánchez served as Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal and served as Internal Political Chair of the La Raza Student Association. Mr. Sánchez has also served as a law clerk at the Center for Veterans Advancement at Public Counsel Law Center and Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County. Mr. Sánchez received a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Occidental College.
